DESIGN CONCEPT    :  Modern Tropical

Space Planning     :  LD27 bungalow design gives emphasize to elevate the entire interior floor to 4’ (1.2m) from the ground level. This design is suitable for land which is lower than the main road, the land lots on the sides and the low land area which is always hit by floods lesser than 4’ (1.2m). The low high facade design turns the living room into double volume (18’ ceiling height) and the highest roof becomes LD27’s landmark. The space is arranged based on the privacy level and the main space is separated from the bedrooms. Small gate is provided for the guest to enter from the main gate. 7 steps of staircase are prepared around the terrace and lobby to enter the house. The staircase design gives the bungalow a unique and special look. The living room, family room 1 and the dining room face the terrace and mini pool. The mini pool becomes the centre of attraction as the cooling element. The dining room is near to the dry and wet kitchen. Open kitchen counter is prepared between the dining room and dry kitchen for a more spacious look. The bedrooms are arranged for more privacy. The occupants can exit to terrace 1 and 2 from the living and dining room through the sliding door.  The outdoor activities can be done at terrace1 and 2. Staircase and platform are provided to link the lobby and terrace 2.

Design Advantage     :  The house plan design is suitable for land lots that lower than the road level and nearby land. The floor level is elevated to 4’ (1.2m) from the ground level. The living room measurement is 20’ x 20’ (6.1m x 6.1m) with the sliding height 18’ (5.4m). The separated living room, dining room and family room face the mini pool (fishpond) and also the terrace. The house plan has 2 family rooms which are located next to the mini pool and near to the dry kitchen and bedrooms. 3 plots of roofed parking area are provided. The facade design with low and high roof make the bungalow more interesting, special, and opulent.
